はじめに
哲学を専門としない人が哲学に関心が出てきたときに何を読むとよいだろうか。世には「ブックガイド」と題されている記事はあまたあるけれど、あんまり頼りにならない手引きも少なくない（たとえば 哲学を専門としない人のための哲学入門書ブックガイド - Lichtung）。
本稿では、国内の本ではなく英語圏での入門書や研究書のシリーズを紹介する。というのも、このような情報は内輪でしか手に入らない秘伝のタレとなっていることがあるからだ。書籍の入手方法については各自で調べて下さい。

翻訳について
私はTOEFL iBTの点数が■■点であるほどの英語弱者であるため、Readableという翻訳ツールを使っている。月1,000円ほどで利用できるProプランの翻訳の精度は恐ろしく低く使い物にならないため、月4,000円のPremiumプランを用いている。Premiumプランでは翻訳エンジンとしてドメイン知識に強いChatGPTが使われていたり、固有名詞の辞書登録が可能であったりするため、英弱でも非常に文献読みが捗る。
